The Ohio Gestational Diabetes Postpartum Care Learning Collaborative selected as "promising practice" for AMCHP Innovation Station

The Association of Maternal Child Health Programs (AMCHP) is a national resource, partner and advocate for state public health leaders and others working to improve the health of women, children, youth and families, including those with special health care needs.  AMCHP maintains a searchable database of emerging, promising, and best practices in the field of maternal child health.  These are submitted by Title V programs and other public health agencies for any program or practice with the potential for significant positive impact on the maternal child health population.  AMCHP defines “best practices” as a continuum of practices, programs and policies that range from emerging to promising to those that have been extensively evaluated and proven effective, i.e. best practice.
