PCP Presentations

Educational presentations review project resources, clinical education related to the diagnosis and treatment of GDM and T2DM, and support tools to aid consumer care. The webinars feature subject matter experts who are nationally recognized experts in the fields of maternal-fetal medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, shared decision making, and consumer education for high-risk populations. Each webinar is approximately 30 minutes in length.

Relationship Between Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

This webinar covers communication and management strategies for high risk patients with a history of GDM and/or at risk for T2DM. The discussion focuses on what to do after a T2DM screening and outlines risk assessment, interventions, and follow up items. Dr. Brill reviews team-based care including the role of the doctor, the care team, and the patient.
